The bottom line is that people dont always tell the truth. While many folks tell little white lies in order to avoid hurting peoples feelings, there is the hard core liar who knows he or she has done something wrong and is trying to cover up. Fortunately, there are a few indicators that will help you know when someone is lying to you. Here are four common signs of liars that will put you on the road to discovering the truth.
The classic indication that someone is lying is an inability to look you in the eye when telling the whopper. Some liars try to compensate for this by focusing on a point on the face that is near the eyes, such as the eyebrows or the nose. Unless you are watching closely, you may even think the liar is looking you square in the eye. Also be on the lookout for the flip-flop; this is a strategy in which the liars eyes dart away and back to your eyes while offering up the untruth.
Second in the common signs of liars is an extreme change in body language. This shift may take the form of folding the arms and placing the legs close together, almost into a defensive posture.
At the other end of the spectrum, the liar may have the arms wide open and lean into your personal space, almost as if attempting to emphasize the truthful nature of the lie. People who are telling the truth tend to change posture very little while speaking. Watch for sudden and extreme changes and be very wary of what you are being told when they happen.
Changes in tone and inflection can also indicate that what you are hearing is not the truth. Some people unconsciously raise the tone of their voice when telling lie. At the same time, they tend to depart from their normal range of inflection. For example, if the individual normally enunciates clearly but begins to slur words slightly, they may be telling a lie. By the same token, if the individual normally speaks rapidly and suddenly slows the pace, it may because they are spouting words they know are not true.
The last of the four main signs has to do with multiple repetitions of the lie. It is almost as if the liar has to repeat the lie several times in order to convince himself that the lie is actually the truth.
When a liar feels the need to attest to the truthfulness of a statement several times in a space of just a few minutes, something is definitely wrong. Look at the remarks very closely before accepting them as truth. Keep in mind that there is usually more than one indicator present at any given time.
Expect to see two or more signs of liars to be present when an individual is intentionally spouting an untruth. Learning these basic signs will help you to be on your guard and not be sucked in when someone starts spinning a yarn of some type.

While many people see marriage as a committed relationship where fidelity is essential, there are others who see nothing wrong with a dalliance outside the marriage now and then. 1. He or she suddenly is working late. If there is a raise, a special project, or a possible promotion in the offing, this may be legitimate and free of any hanky panky. But if it seems as if your spouse works late one, then two, then three nights a week without any of these situations existing, something may be up.
2. New clothes. If your spouse begins to purchase clothing that is a little younger or a little different in style from what he or she normally likes, it may be a sign of the influence of a new playmate. This is especially true if these new styles are not anything you have suggested would look good on your spouse.
3. Sexy undergarments. If your man goes from wearing boxers to bikini briefs without asking your opinion, then he did not buy them for your benefit. The cheating wife may go out of her way to be understanding when her husband wants to go out with his buddies. In like manner, the cheating husband may start showing up with flowers and other little gifts for no apparent reason.
9. Money is disappearing. Motel rooms are not free. If money seems to be a little tighter even though the family budget shows no new bills, something may be up.
10. Changes in temperament. Cheating spouses may suddenly become easily irritated, or develop a great deal of apathy. This loss in interest may begin in the bedroom and spread to other areas of the marriage in a short period of time.
While there are other explanations for all of the 10 signs of cheating spouse activity, it is important to recognize these possible signs that something is up. One of the worst feelings in the world is when you suspect that your love interest or spouse is cheating. As the suspicion grows, it begins to take over just about every aspect of your life. You cant work or sleep. Everything you do is colored by your suspicion. Before you allow signs of cheating in a relationship to take over your entire life, there are a few things you should keep in mind.
First, it is important to remember that no matter how bad things look, there is no point in investing a lot of worry until after your suspicions are confirmed. Even some of the most blatant signs of cheating can have perfectly innocent origins. While you do not do yourself any favors by pretending there are no signs, it is equally true that you should not make too much of the signs until there is some proof to go along with them.
Next, ask yourself just how bad it would be if the signs you see are true indicators that cheating is taking place. What will you lose? Often we fear the unknown. By reminding yourself that there is so much of your life that will remain intact even if it does come to light that your spouse or love interest is cheating, it may be possible to focus more on getting to the bottom of things rather than assuming the worst.
Last, many signs of cheating in a relationship can also be indicators of other issues that should be addressed between the two of you. For example, if intimacy between the two of you has decreased recently, it could be due to changes in health. If that is the case, a physical checkup will reveal the origins and allow the two of you to take appropriate action. There may be some underlying emotional matters that the two of you need to work out. Keeping in mind that there may not be anyone else in the mix but that there is something the two of you need to face together is important if you want to keep the relationship going.
When coming to terms with signs of cheating in a relationship, do your best to keep your emotions in check and look at the situation as objectively as possible. What you are reading as a sign that infidelity is taking place could be a sign of something else entirely. Whatever the nature of the sign, make it a point to uncover the origin of the sign and then take whatever steps are necessary.
